I agree, this came out around the time I was first getting into watches when I was younger, I thought it was incredible then and I still really appreciate it now - still my favourite PO. This video...
There were three watches in that 07/08 time period that were really Omega's signal they they intended to chip up and compete in a higher market segment than they had in several decades, the PO LM LE, The Hour Vision, and the Ploprof.

All three of those were bargains in their day for the quality offered, and actually exceed some of the Omega models on the market today at a much higher price point.

I genuinely believe they produced some of them like the Hour Vision at a loss, knowing it was effectively a halo product intended to demonstrate what they were capable of to the masses, like the BMW E31 or Citroen SM, and on the secondary market all three of them are undervalued, slightly in the case of the PO LM LE, significantly on the first gen Ploprof, and massively on the Hour Vision.

Those three imo, were a more significant leap forward than the Co-Axial escapement ever was, because you could just feel the difference in quality, and it made other models in their lineup at the time feel almost cheap.

Have seen the new POs. Really nice and the leaked photos are accurate. But the watch feels much more modern now, I will definitely be buying one!

The current POs look like bricks next to the new ones. I think this watch will be well received.

You have seen the real watch? And where can I find the leaked pictures, I haven't seen any?

If you find the current POs thick, you will love the new PO.
Great, that means that they most probably used 8800 cal. So we will get the watch in size of NTTD, i.e. 13mm thick, with PO hand/dial design, no He valve and Seamaster 300 (not 300m) bracelet.

Edit: However I did not consider 600m in comparison with 300m of NTTD. So thickness rather 13,5 mm

It's 89xx with more power reserve.

Ah ok, then the thickness will be as at Seamaster 300 at 14mm, wherein the higher water resistance will be covered by the closed caseback.

So a thickness of around 14 mm it sounds like? Fine by me. I've worn at 39.5 × 14 mm (8800) for a few weeks now, and I think it sits very comfortably on my 17 cm wrist. Being a tough-as-nails 600 m diver, I think 14 mm is acceptable.

@Rebornsoul Is there more than one size? Like current 39.5 and 43 ( I think it's 43).
From Reddit leak it seems that they will start with 42mm, what means the same diameter as current 43,5mm, since there the diameter of bezel is 42mm (no more asymmetrical case).

If I was Omega I would make that in a 42mm case and 39mm case with a thickness of 12.5mm. And then collect the profit.
42 and Titanium for me please! ❤️

I was at a boutique last night with a friend who wanted to try out the 60th Bond. While at it, I happen to see someone trying orange and black bezel divers which looked like a PO from a few feet away and asked if these were the new PO's. Was told they are inviting a few high spending clients to come and try them on by invitation only. Managed to try on the orange PO.
Wasn't allowed to take a photo since it's a secret preview when I checked so ...

Orange bezel was underwhelming. First and second gen orange were striking while this one seems like a real orange that's starting to rot with a black hue. The shape at the lugs is completely new or something we haven't seen on Omega. No gloss on the dial. No date . No HEV. But a brilliant looking bracelet and clasp. Bracelet is flat link type with polished Center links. Felt comfortable. Didn't try the black but it looks way better than the orange bezel overall. Glossy bezel and all I think.
Thought I saw a blue bezel too. But wasn't sure.

It's still slightly thicker than the first gen but a whole lot wearable than the current PO range. The new bracelet and lug design has a shorter lug to lug. Saying all this by visual inspection. I sense this new PO clasp is going to be well received. Non HEV omega diver felt weird I must say but could get gotten used to.

On sale on the 18th November globally. Didn't ask the price cause I ain't buying this. Happy with the first gen.

Edit: and yes it's 42mm.
