Without the polish it becomes even more like a vanilla microbrand watch.
Nah, if I'd want to spend that kind of money on this look I would go for a Defy Skyline or a Defy diver instead. Feels like they achieve 'that look' much more effortlessly and without trying as hard as Omega with this PO.
The Defy has always reminded me of a giant monster eye. I like the yellow one but it's what I see every time I look at it.
I’d personally go for the orange 70s Revival model, but I already own an A384 Revival so would be too much overlap.
But the polished facets and chamfers look is something that’s in the Zenith DNA. On an Omega I’m looking for twisted lugs 😉
What I want to know is, why the orange bezel models are $300 more.
Because the MKT dept. believe the market will pay that price.
