·By the way, this was also you: "Oh my God i ve just learned the processor which E5 has, released in 2022 !"
Why would you consider such an " old" processor?
Why would you consider such an " old" processor?
Said the keyboard warrior desperately trying to validate himself on a consumer goods forum. By the way, I apologize to everyone here - regardless of what he writes next, I won’t be responding anymore. But I have to say, I find it quite tragicomic that this guy is trying to philosophize and pass judgment on a watch forum. Honestly, I almost feel sorry for him.”
I installed the update. No changes to the 2 issues I pointed out to them in the sport app:
1. custom workouts do not load correctly on the watch (watch shows number of reps for current exercise but title of next exercise in list, if you do bench press 12 reps then biceps 20 reps, etc. watch just shows biceps 12 reps etc).
2. Once you start the sport app, music control is disabled (can’t use the E5 to skip a track during a workout)
Does anyone with an iPhone see improvements?

2 questions:
(1) what does the colored arc represent, blue, green, yellow? But sometimes there’s no arc.
(2) what does this tick moving tick mark mean?
Anyone else's watch ringing two or three times for a single notification after the update? Restarted the watch twice which didn't help
I don't have multiple rings for a single notification on Android.
Still have 2 existing problems after today's update. A random notification gets stuck on watch after it is dismissed on the phone, need to restart the watch to get rid of it.
And after I close media playing on the phone or after I finish a phone call, watch continues showing them on the face as active media session or an ongoing call.
I was hoping these issues would have been fixed, but had them both after the update.
I agree with Ralph. I was a big complainer about the HR issue on the E5 but was ultimately able to fix it with position and tightness. I posted about it here a couple of days ago. There is an article linked in my post that I found helpful in getting the position just right.
https://omegaforums.net/posts/2538495/ DDWRS4 ·Solution to the HR issue
Serious issues with the E5’s heart rate readings have been reported here and on Reddit. My own HR readings have been grossly incorrect, off by 60bpm or more, although they were always accurate when I’m completely still. This has been frustrating to say the least.
I finally found a solution that I’m happy with. It simply involves placing the watch high enough on your wrist and tight enough to produce an accurate reading. It took me a few days of wearing both the E5 and my Fitbit to find just the right spot. For me, it means wearing my E5 at least one full finger...
I noticed the same issue yesterday on a treadmill run. The mark is supposed to indicate the current heart rate within the range denoted by the colored arc. It’s a bug, as the tick mark should always be in the arc. I did a treadmill run tonight, after updating the watch, and it was behaving correctly. Either the software update fixed it or it’s intermittent (hopefully the former).
Thanks @Hubert , you're very kind! 😅 The only Connected I've ever had experience with is the E2 Modular 45, my favourite of the five generations so far, but I'm eager to see more details on the E5.
At least, for iPhone and E2 Modular users like me, the E5 has the advantage (over E3 and E4) that, since it runs a different operating system than Wear OS, it should be possible to pair it with an iPhone in addition to the E2 Modular (or in addition to E1, E3, E4). So the E5 could be a complement to one of the four previous Connected generations, not a replacement. It will be interesting to confirm this possibility, of being able -for the first time- to have two TAG Heuer Connected paired to the same iPhone.
