Project complete. New bracelet, fresh crystal with bezel combo, and a light polish.

Trying out a new strap on Reddit's top recommended entry-level watch of 2019. It's an improvement but I still hate this thing - its big fat case and ridiculous handset. Wearing it is my punishment for thinking myself above WIS forums at the time. And it will make its eventual replacement all the more satisfying.

Rainy day companion. This was a Father's Day gift from 2023. Currently running well at +/- 2 seconds a day.

That's a very smart re-issue.
Agree, tough to tell the difference... 26 jewels vs. the original 17 jewels on the dial perhaps?

I don't want to know any more about them or I'll start looking at ones for sale.

My Polar Explorer ½

I've had the parts for a while but finally took the time to put it all together this weekend. Internals are all genuine Seiko OEM parts, but the case is a custom one.
