ยทAnother odd one, don't know much about this other than it was the house brand for the extinct Dutch department store Vroom and Dreesmann.
Commodoor watches were imported by the Zurel company in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.
Zurel was (and is) known as a flower exporter. The flowers were sold to Switzerland, among other countries.
Since Swiss francs were worthless in the Netherlands, Zurel accepted payment in watches, which were then sold in the Netherlands.
Zurel distributed the watches through department stores like Vroom & Dreesmann, Kijkshop and Hagen but many more stores.
Commodoor, not to be mistaken with the famous computer firm Commodore.
