The newest Senna F1 watch uses bracelet BA0637, which I guess is slightly different than the 2015/16 model's BA0883. The 2020 CAZ101AF.BA0637 uses the same bracelet as the new one. So it's been around for at least 5 years.
After looking at the images, this newest BA0637 bracelet also appears to have the links made in two pieces like the BA0883. In fact I think the only difference between BA0883 and BA0637 is the buckle:

In these photos of the new model with the BA0637 bracelet, you can see the side joints of those two parts of each link (the same I can see in my 2016 version):

So, the salesperson who told Rob the link is one piece probably meant the two link halves don't rotate separately as they did on older Link bracelets. (Assuming those render pics are accurate.)
