The bracelet links aren't two pieces anymore? I didn't notice.

I've never owned a Link, just S/ELs, so haven't paid attention to the bracelet changes. I'd guess probably when they stopped using the Link bracelet on Link watches and started using them for the F1 and Carrera instead.
I couldn't tell for sure, so I asked and the salesman said they are one piece now.
Today I checked the Link bracelet BA0883 of my 2016 Formula 1 Senna, and links are made in two pieces. The two parts of each link are firmly fixed and do not rotate against each other, but there are two pieces per link

Love these!
Cheers Jim, it's an old one from 1995. Quite a bit slimmer than the current one as the sapphire has a much lower dome and it's a thinner solid caseback.
One of the first with the dehumidifying capsule. 👍

Original tropic strap?
Thanks. Finally caught this legend. No, Iam searching for a nice tropic. This is a plastic cheapie for the moment.

I've had my eye on this for some time. The gamble was significant as the seller did not provide much information and I had the impression that he did not fully know what he was offering for sale. Very vague photos and a rather 'funky' strap was on the watch. In the end I was very happy that I managed to score it.
