Case 61 The first art object is done by Salvador Dali, Prémonition des Tiroirs (The Premonition of Drawers). Dali was one of the fathers of surrealism and some of his best-known paintings featured melting clocks. When he created this bronze sculpture in 1973, the founder of the bronze came to Omega for the movement. Luigi Viando, who was the brother of the founder, was Omega's head designer. The female figure depicted in the sculpture has a number of drawers coming from her chest, stomach and leg. As is so often the case with surrealistic art, you are left to interpret the sculpture's hidden meanings.close friend of Omega designer at that time. With the concept of face watch in body sculpture it was a modern art interpretation.

I think this is the most comprehensive set of photos from the museum ever made thus far, when its complete perhaps we should make an index thread as a sticky linking to all parts.
Another superb episode. Thank you. And I see we have plenty more to go. HOw long did you spend in the museum?
4 hours and that's because I have to catch the train back to Lucern since I have to help my wife packing 🙁 . The audio guide suggested you will need one hour to see the whole museum but I found it impossible.
