An old thread but I think the proper place for this is here
Seven years in Tibet watch

Now, compare the watch in the museum with a capture from the film itself (thanks to a good member from Spanish forum "relojes especiales":

Official military watches

Case 94 official military watches

RAF thin arrow watch

US Corps watch

US Army watch case back

Military pilot watch

Military pocket watch

British military watch. The front model was the biggest order that Omega has ever received all time. 110 thousands order by British government for WW2.

RAF watch

Another RAF watch with subsecond
The Army marked watch is neat. I wonder if that means Canal Corps on the dial as in Panama Canal. I spent a couple of years stationed in the Canal Zone in the early 1990s.

Case 89 Other movies

Seven years in Tibet watch

I just watched Seven Years in Tibet and oddly enough this is not the watch featured in the movie.

The watch in the movie has a different handset and the engraving is noticeably different.

Interesting...

Ah, the old Omega museum where we could easily bring a tripod and photograph watches... the new Omega museum is more a playground 🤦
