I see the discoloration on the gold markers. But lime on top of gold? Usually it would be a depression for the lume or so.

The one I posted seem to be in good condition but it’s odd. Oval pushers. 33mm.

Life in UG land is getting more and more insane. 2 examples of absolute lemons:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/146828945814 Asking USD 14.850.... According to the seller a Dato Compax. Reference is 22465, which is a 'normal' Compax. Dial is a blatant redial. I exchanged some message with the seller but 'he had more than 1200 of these and his watchmaker worked for UG and Patek' so apparantely I'm the idiot here

Question from a forum noob: A neighbor inherited a bunch of vintage watches from an uncle. I have my eye on either a UG Railway or a Zenith Sporto Automatic. I can probably only pick off one. They are in similar condition.

Which would be your play?

My friend is trying to sell this. Tempting since it’s the 881101/03 but the condition of the dial is what’s stopping me. How much do you think would be the proper price point for a piece like this?

I think it's very difficult to come up with a price for a watch with this kind of condition issues. I don't know what else to say other than "whatever someone is willing to pay". Which is not very helpful.

I could almost forgive the bezel but the condition of the dial is alarming and the moment might be in a similar state. This has a story and it’s not a good one.
