Just had a email about the new connected..

So it’s an E4 with a new strap?

It's not even a new strap, orange has been available from the first day.

Does this count as my "new" release?

Same here but price has dropped massively. Could an E5 be coming or are they getting ot of the smartwatch game ?
I'd never seen discounts so steep except when someone's planning on leaving the smartwatch business. Hopefully TH doesn't, but unfortunately it's looking that way.

Hi all,

I think discounts normally are a good sign. Happens always couple of months before new version of a product are released. As prices for smartwatches are dropping in general, even a massive discount still is a sign that they will release E5 like communicated on several occasions in 2025.

TH definitely not going away from Connected Watch.

I've seen that there is an massiv price drop on the Tag Heuer Website on all Connected. So seems that they are cleaning there warehouse. Let's see when the e5 will be released

Does anyone still care about these? From my unscientific survey, it seems like Apple and Garmin have got this market sewn up.

E5 to be released at Watches and Wonders?

Are the new connected launching soon, watches and wonders perhaps.

I don't have inside info but i notice on Tag's website, the price of the E4 has been decrease again--i find it strange unless an imminent launch is close

Wont be at Watche and Wonders unfortunately. We will have to wait until alot later in the year. Lots of work being done on the E5.

That is surprising, I've never seen such an aggressive price reduction from Tag Heuer ( unless an outlet) and a second one to boot--
from $1800 to $1050 starting price


At this rate a 3rd reduction before the new release seem imminent

I have had E4 for more than 2 years and can't wait for E5. Hope I will be able to use all the straps from E4 on E5.
I believe @Anthony knows more about it, need to patiently wait.

I doubt that, otherwise they wouldn't decrease the price on the straps as well...$150 for rubber straps but I am curious on the new direction, form wise it is a great product but functions needs a huge uplift(even though it is apple restriction)

Where do you see rubber straps at $150? They are $170 for me on Tag page.
You also mentioned "the price of the E4 has been decrease again". Price was dropped to this level some time ago, not recently.

I stand corrected, it $170( I got it confused with titanium buckle)

Last increase I recalled in the E4 was
Golf/ red bull edition went from $2750 to $1950 and now they are $1650( i thought that was recent as in this year but I haven't been keeping tabs)

I am Android myself but here, if 10 e4 got sold, 7 got bought from iOS users...so large portion of users complain about functionality (at least here)

I am eagerly waiting the new launch to see if it was worth upgrading or picking up e4 at a bargain

And? Yup. Nothing.
There will definitely be an E5.
It will arive quarter 4 of 2025.
Totally different to what we have for E3 and E4.
TAG Heuer has developed their own OS.
