Come on people, 95% of the treads on "Modern Omega watches" are about Speedys. OF is getting boring. Lets see all your Seamasters, dont let the Seamaster tread die too. Please.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. hen

I recently picked up this lovely fitted red rubber strap from Monstraps, really liking the look of it combined with the white dial and red gmt hand!

I really like the look of this. The Great White GMT is such a great watch. A couple of months ago I ran into someone wearing a 50th anniversary GMT which was fun to see- but I'd love to see one of these in person eventually.

I've never seen the summer blue dial in person. I can see where it would look quite different depending on certain angles. I'll check it out next time I'm at my local boutique. When I bought my blue SMPc (no-wave) this was not an option, only black or blue. Now it's wild how many color options are offered!

It's not just certain angles- it's different in certain lighting conditions. There's really a lot going on with the dial and the way it reflects light. The material that makes up the "fumé" dial isn't all of the same size. Sometimes it looks grainy, like dark blue particles of sand on a beach. Other times, the center of the dial acts like a lens, and focuses reflected light enough that a camera can be somewhat blinded (which is why one of the images above has an almost "white" look to the center of the watch- the camera doesn't at all see what the human eye does). Kinda reminds me of the reflector dish of the Enterprise and Enterprise A from the first couple of TOS movies. Other times, the particulates can sparkle and refract almost like miniature diamonds or tiny waves way off on the horizon reflecting light as you look out over the ocean.

Whether or not it is morning or afternoon, overcast, outright rainy, or sunny- All of these things can have a fairly drastic impact on what the dial looks like. More than 2 years with mine and I still love it.

It is really tough to decide between the summer blue 300m and the 600m. You get the waves with the 300m, but the 600m dial looks better in my opinion. But do I want a smaller dial. On my blue dial 300m, I have the leather band. I'm not really liking it as I prefer a fold over clasp to a regular buckle.

It looks even better in person! I currently have an order placed for a short length OEM mesh, and i am super excited to put it on this watch. I think it’ll combine beautifully with the all brushed case and overall tool like vibe it has. Do you have any experience with the mesh by chance?

I have worn the mesh only briefly when I was trying on a watch, so I unfortunately don't have any useful feedback to give you. I think it looks pretty darn good though.

Both the Summer Blue SMP 300M Diver and the Planet Ocean are excellent watches. But the Summer Blue Planet Ocean is actually a little smaller and thicker than the Summer Blue SMP 300M Diver. I believe you can purchase and install a fold over clasp on leather straps.

Personally I prefer the iconic 5 link stainless steel Brosnan bracelet on the SMP 300M Diver, even the modern version of the Brosnan bracelett feels as comfortable as the original.
