That guy must have small wrists, that S/EL looks massive on him.

Or was that one a bit bigger than the normal chronos?

IIRC it's 39mm, but with pushers on both sides it wears a little larger. I agree that it appears massive on Dempsey's wrist - like a 42 on mine.

Probably on the occasion of this special parade being held today in Monaco in memory of Ayrton for the 30th anniversary

For sure he's wearing it for that occasion. But I doubt it's his watch. TAG wanted him to wear it and recall the Revolution interview with Julien at LVMH watch week. Wei Koh asking about a Senna or S/el watch and also the OG Formula 1, Julien responding by saying something like "we're going to take care of that" for both.

A few more pics.

Yes it's 39mm. It's probably the endlinks on the strap that give it the illusion of wearing larger.

I just noticed on the close up of the pic I posted above that there's no date readout in the LCD window and the time is set to 10:10. Which means there's no battery in it and the watch is just for show.

I believe this is the same watch, now running with a battery. Apparently making the rounds at the Monaco Historic GP.

George Bamford wearing it.

Thanks for pointing out yet another orchestrated marketing scheme where consumers are mislead to believe that famous people on instagram where these watches 👍

Now we just wait and see if hodinky is paid to broadcast one of their 'talking watches' advertisements with someone who just happens to collect all s/el models

Too cool! Love the Sport Elegance Chronos, it started the watch disease for me!

TAG Heuer has been posting a lot of social media on Senna recently. Two F1 races coming up, San Marino and Monaco, both very closely associated with Senna.

If TAG is planning to release a new Senna watch, one of these two GPs would be the place to do it. My hunch would be Monaco, as they're one of the race sponsors. However, TH usually announces a new Monaco at Monaco, so we'll see. A little bird hinted to me that a Senna themed Monaco might also be a possibility. Senna still holds the record for most Monaco wins at six.

IMHO & I know a lot of you guys love that watch. But my god it’s ugly & would be another fail by Tag. But least the WIS on here may be happy.
