Not sure whether this brand has appeared on anyone's radar to date, so I thought I'd give it a mention. The styling cues are obvious, but outside the norm for wristwatches, and the execution/complications (provided it all works as planned) is somewhat quirky, but would seem to actually result in a clear time indication 😉

I wonder if, like the speedo dial of a 1960s Mini from which I draw homagery (can that even be right?), the single hand bobs and waves and points in a general but inexact direction other than when at rest?

I like it, but I'm not sure I completely understand it. Does it do a rapid reset of the minute hand once an hour, like a typewriter going to the next line? That's an interesting complication, to be sure.

To quote from their site "retrograde minute and jumping hour". The hour indicator flips over to the next hour and the minute hand flicks back to 00 on the hour. From the reviews, it's instantaneous.

£3500 seems a bit steep for something this unproven, but I like the concept. I'm sure people will buy it.

It's not unproven by a long shot. Retrogrades and jump hours have been around for centuries.

There's a variety of dial styles on their website based on this setup. I just chose the one in my OP because it amused me 😀

Yup I looked through them. Some are... well if you can’t say anything nice... others are quite nice.

I did. Your answer was not hard to find.

I’m intrigued by the concept, as I have been by all ‘jump’ movements. But I think all their dials miss.

I had met the guys from Reservoir and tried a few one at Baselworld 2018. The watches are pretty interesting and well realized but a bit thick. They are cool but there are countless watches on my list for such price so I can't imagine buying one.

The whole "let's make it look like a dial from an aircraft/car instrument panel" thing passes me by. I just dont think that mach meters or miles per hour translates to seven minutes past nine...
