nice concept, this watch has a lot action in to it. nice to watch the jump of the minutes hands. and it's nice too to keep an eye on the power reserve, we're always aware when the tank needs to be refilled.
Growing up as a car guy from Detroit in the 1960s, I do love the unique dashboard styles of that era, and I do like the look of these watches. However, the price is too steep for me. For comparison, I had bought this Autodromo Stradale based on the Italian sports car dashboard dials of the 1960s. It's not a retrograde dial, but has hour markers on a clear, raised ring floating over the dial. It went for almost $1000 with a Miyota movement, which was also pretty high, but I loved the look of it enough to finally buy it.
I find the Reservoir very easy to read. The white hour wheel stands out against the black dial, and the large minute hand points to large minute markers.
