I have this on a virtually unidentifiable Mohawk Watch Co. watch. It was from an aunt I never met to an uncle I never met for Christmas
just before he shipped off to Europe during WW2. It came home in a personal effects box, the uncle is still buried in France. My mom says that box went unopened for many years.
Respect to your family.

This was given to my wife’s grandmother by her grandfather. Then it belonged to her mom. Now it’s hers.

Obviously not my watch but I think it's place in history also gives it a place in this thread.

The signature of Marshal Tito, former President of Yugoslavia post WWII. A number of manufacturers would have his signature engraved on watches destined for the Yugoslavian market. This one is on a very cool solid 18k gold Marvin.

Huh, never seen one of those before. Not sure I'd been too enthusiastic about having the signature of a dictator on my watch but thats just me. At least that example is in nice condition.

I had a similar model once upon a time.

T_swiss - your opinion of Tito has more to do with your ignorance than it does with who he was a leader and person.

Jonatan - very nice! I remember you had posted a Marvin for sale a few months ago.
