BTW with respect to buying more, I wore a TAG F1 Chronograph Quartz that my brother gave to me until I could afford my first good bought watch, a Seamaster Pro Chrono Diver.

Then a vintage Rolex Submariner
Then a Pie-pan constellation
Then a Seamaster Gold Cap
Then a Seamaster 300 Diver
Then a second gold Omega

And I'm looking for a Speedmaster Pro Cal 321.

And a PloProf 600
and an Anakin / Darth Vader
and a Rolex 1680 18k gold sub
and... and...

I'm never going to own my own home...

I dont think there would be enough memory in the forum to list your watches Dennis.馃榾

There's a special rack of servers which would automatically be activated in the event that Dennis posts a full collection listing AND flipping history. We have automated measures in place to protect everyone from him 馃槻

Pfft, a full present collection didn't kill the servers - I did that a few months back, didn't I? But if you want me to give the ins & outs since I started with watches (20 some years ago with the last 5+ of serious flipping) it would amount to.... well, too much time to bother. 馃槈

Well, thank you, but I had a look at the vid some of you people posted of the bossy Russian bloke taking all the time in the world to do some beautiful stuff with a Bulova. Now that is proper stuff.
Ah yes, that series is quite good. It can be a bit tedious to watch sometimes (quiet audio, etc), but there's really useful info and techniques to learn from.

I've actually found that some product photographers take their craft too far. Ultra perfect lighting and setup + heavy, heavy re-touching. The photos could just as easily be a computer rendering. They're too sterile and perfect, having no sense of 'life' to them.

That's true, car adverts, movie posters etc. look like CGI. Especially with HDR being the big thing nowadays everything looks fake (including the flash-craze currently presiding over me as well 馃榾 ). But I think the perfection thing is done and expected especially on the retouch side.
