What do think? Redialed or not?

I'm not sure - the polish is a red flag...and the price as well..

Appreciate your opinions 馃榾

Not an expert, but something about the font seems off. Whether it is original or redial, it is nice!

T Swiss Made T with no lume
I could have sworn we just saw in another thread that the T SM T dials happened on no-lume watches too sometimes, but I'd have to look back. Only a few days ago ...

Im sure there are exceptions, I know in C case in particular. But here I would just consider it another question for the watch

I didn't see any red flags, and it is pretty consistent with the ones listed here: https://stories.omegaforums.net/constellation-jumbo-37mm-168-001/

Minute markers made me question it for a bit though, but there is some weird photograph artifacts going on here, they are not consistent thickness between photos for hte same marker.

Such is the variation in text styles that 'jumbo' constellations are a specialist subject in their own right.
Of course the term 'jumbo' simply covers a series of references that appeared in larger lyre-lugged cases. (predominantly for the Far East market)

However, the font style across the range is reasonably consistent - and by that I mean shape and serifs.

As @Porteroso said, there is immediately something 'off 'about the dial when you first look at it.
When you look closer, the font just isn't quite right.
The dial texture on the OPs watch is enough to call a redial.
And the flattened 'O' in automatic is pure fantasy for any constellation.
Ts on a watch without lume generally signify one of two things in Constellations of this era - a redial or a service dial.

Appreciate all your answers!

I'm still on the look out for this specific piece - recently got offered this:

Pretty sure it's no repaint and not really polished.

What do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger or keep searching for a better dial?

Appreciate it!

You鈥檙e right that the dial has some extensive spotting.

It would help if you told us what the asking price is.

Whether Pounds, dollars or euros, that is too much for an utterly pristine jumbo and probably twice the value of a, albeit decently cased, jumbo with that much spotting in the lacquer of the dial.

I think that's a nice enough watch if you can get the price more in line with comps. Maybe you can do some research and find previous sales.

Name + posting-pattern of this one makes me think we have our recent friend (WatchGeek86?) back...

thank u all for your answers!

well, i knew selling price was high but wasn't aware that it's that bad...

So, keep on looking - but were? Here? Reddit? watchuseek? Any omega specific dealer? Any advice is highly appreciated!

I really looking for a piece that is in pristine condition (ofc priced higher) but I don't even know if it's realistic for a watch coming from the 60s...

Figure out more what you want, and we can suggest some from the for sale here, there are plenty of folks who have great ones in the classifieds here.

Additionally, there is a vintage watches on eBay thread where @dsio posts some great suggestions.

All beef some level of due diligence, but both of those are well filtered.
