Indeed that's an ambitious price. You can search for comps of 18k Constellations in auction sales or forum listings. You can even look for Deluxe models. Without seeing the whole listing, we can't really do a full evaluation.

Edit: Actually, I just checked and there are plenty of comps in sold forum listings. Use the advanced search function.
Thanks for the tip - which auction sites are u generally referring to?
And what’s the difference between a ‘normal’ Constellation and a ‘Deluxe’ model?
Also, where exactly do you use the advanced search mode? I only see the search bar at the top of the page - guess I’m just too stupid to find the advanced option 😅 Appreciate the help!

btw here is the full listing: https://www.chrono24.at/omega/omega...meter-date-18kt-rose-gold-60s--id43128448.htm

The C24 watch is a 14394 (deluxe with gold dial) Constellation.

Rose gold does sell at a premium.

The watch isn’t heavily polished and is handsome but it has lost its facets on the edges of the lugs.

€5400 is a high price but gold is at an all time high at the minute.

Rear, inside case back, movt shots required for proper evaluation.
Appreciate the help!

But when you say it ‘lost its facets on the edges of the lugs’ - doesn’t it look completely normal?

here is the full listing btw: https://www.chrono24.at/omega/omega...meter-date-18kt-rose-gold-60s--id43128448.htm

The facets are small chamfered sections on the edges of the lugs on this reference.

Regarding the listing - I find it astonishing that anyone can ask 5.5k for a watch and not show the movt and inner case back.

If you are serious about the watch you must ask for these - there (theoretically) could be anything under the hood.

Advanced search is the first option in the Forums menu. There are many auction sites that sell high end watches: Phillips, Antiquorum, etc. There are also a ton of more obscure auction sites. Try google.

Yeah, the price is crazy… I get it: gold and hyped Constellation - Still, I don’t think I’d pay more than €3–4k for a rose gold one in excellent condition - maybe I’m crazy, or maybe that means I’ll never find one at that price..

By the way, do you know if there ever was a rose gold Constellation without a date and with a domed dial?

No date Constellations
2852
14381
14900 / 167..005

All of these should come in rose gold.

Deluxe references will be slightly different.

Thanks a lot for ur effort!
At the moment I’m trying to figure out if there was ever a rose gold Constellation with a gold dial, onyx insert markers, and no date - pretty sure that would be my grail hehe

That would be deluxe versions.
E.g 14382
Constellations were produced in yellow gold, rose gold and much less commonly white gold.

White gold constellations (except c cases) come at an extreme premium- like 400%

My yellow gold 14382
