I wonder how the sales staff explain away the two year warranty on the SMQ Monaco when almost everything else in the shop has a five year warranty...?
'Special watches only have two years warranty unfortunately'... lol
How? Five year warranty is for in house movements, not Selitta shitters.
Well I guess that had to happen eh? Originally it was 'in house' movements... but I guess as they had like one old 'out of house' crapper left in the range they had to do the same.
Ha not at all, but odd their new store doesn’t have this displayed.
The SMQ Calibre 11 will no longer have a cheap selita movement. As od 2026 the SMQ will have a TH20-11 movement. TAG Heuer has developed their own Calibre 11.
And I'm guessing it will be a little bit more expensive.

The new movement's name, TH20-11, implies it's an evolution of the H02/TH20 but with "11" hinting at a lefthand crown. But I recall that the H02/TH20 did not lend itself to a lefthand crown configuration, and then there's the dreaded running seconds hand 3rd-register at 6 o'clock.
Hence, I'm quite curious to learn more about this movement. Whether it really is a derivative of the H02/TH20, and if so, what was done to enable the lefthand side crown. Or if it's something entirely different.
