Most forum-members know there're some good "general" books about certain wristwatch brands (e.g. the 2007 Omega A Journey in Time by Marco Richon and the 2008 Vintage Rolex Sports Models by Martin Skeet and Nick Urul)...
Although good reads, these aren't without some faults and if you are looking for more detailed information regarding some specific watches, we have to take a look at more specialized books...
I intend to review my personal Top 3 books on specific wristwatch models...

With a price tag of $US800 + Freight, regrettably, I don't think I'll be taking that Dive into the Deep! But thanks for the great posts..

Update on the Panerai books... the vintagePanerai References series are the best books on the subject...
Meanwhile I received this Italian language Rolex advertizing book...
Rolex Viaggio nelle Pubblicità Storiche ( Rolex A Journey Into Historical Advertizing )... although the text is easy to understand, most people would like to see an English / French language version. Amazing hardcover with 540 pages !
