This 1938-1940 ish Heuer based on the serial number, case/font, and the lack of branding on the movement.
I think this is a re-dial or a non-catalog item. What's confusing is that everything seems right enough, you just don't see it in the years OnTheDash has for catalogs, nor to you see any like it out there. The dial seems to have the right patina, fonts / logo details are correct, movement has the right details relative to the serial number, etc. The only thing I saw was the way the paint bleeds a bit on the dial when you look under a microscope.... but I haven't seen any other similar dials under a scope.
Note: the phone camera distorted the shape...everything is round.

This one looks OK to me, but we can be much more certain if you will post photos showing the outside of the caseback, inside the caseback and the movement. Or send them to me by email -- [email protected].

Thanks for the warm fuzzy! The Imgur has most of those pics. The case back & case are standard generic swiss cases of the time. The case is press-fit stainless with a machined interior, flat spot, etc. The serial number stamp & "Acier Inoxyable" is in the right font with reference to similar less branded watches of similar serial numbers.

Hello good people
New tinkerer here and first time poster (and sorry for any mispelling - English is not my native language)
Any help in following is much appreciated.
I wrote seller with an offer on a closed auction (starting bid ~€670/749US) with zero bids and seller accepted the offer from me ~€590/660US. Havn't picked it up or paid it yet.

First alarm went off with me when there were no bids but the seller had listed the sale for pickup only and no shipping, so maybe that explains the 0 bids...

Allegedly it should be a Valjoux 7733.
I can't find any similar online.

What are your thoughts? Is it a walk away?
Thank you in advance 🙏 😀

If you are looking for a Heuer, walk away as it isn't one! There are no genuine Heuer parts here from what I can see.
If you just like it for what it is and are happy with the price-go for it!

Hi Steve
Thanks for the feared confirmation. Does that include the movement?
Is it worth the price alone? Assumeing it's a genuine Valjoux?
Cheers.

Hi, check the 'sold' listings on ebay for 'Valjoux 7733' and you will find watches with running 7733s sold for around 250€!

Agree it’s fake. Or more accurately it was probably a generic watch which was redialed at which point the Heuer logo was added to the dial.

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and I wanted a heads up before buying a women Alter Ego WP1313-0 BA0751 from 1999 from a private seller. The listing price is 440€ and the seller assured me it’s obviously original😅 but as I don’t have much experience I wanted to check. Let me know and thank you in advance 😀

nothing wrong with this one. Maybe better with 'City's' metal strap.

Thank you! Yes shame it doesn’t have the original strap although I do quite like it with the leather

Hi,

I just bought a Heuer Monaco 73633g off a seller on eBay. I thought the watch was in beautiful condition and since it was sold as authentic/original by a reputable dealer to the person who sold to me and then passed eBay authentication I felt happy with my purchase. I then started reading up a lot more on the watch and started to feel more nervous, mostly because the watch had white sub dials and this version theoretically only came with grey or black subdials. I desperately want to keep the watch due to the condition but since it wasn’t cheap for me (>£4k) it doesn’t sit easy with me if the watch has been redialled. I was hoping whether any knowledgeable posters could share any thoughts on the pics and or on dial varieties (ie were there possibly service dials with white sub-dials?). I fear I might have to return the watch but I wanted to ask the community first.

Thanks so much!
