Great, nice growing Modular collection! 😀

And you have already received the Red Bull Racing blue leather strap with red stitching! 👍

About the Carrera Calibre 16 mechanical module, you should be able to find it brand new in the official TAG Heuer outlet stores with 30% discount, so at around 1850€

About the black lugs, brand new they will keep retail price, but you can find them at ebay, used in good condition (black titanium/ceramic lugs are much more resistant to scratch than titanium lugs, so there are usually in good condition), like these ones:

Good hunting! 😉

Hi team. Long-time lurker of these forums here and utterly jealous of all the collections by everyone. I've taken the decision to start my own collection after the Series 3 seemed a little underwhelming to me due to the lack of modularity.

I was wondering if anyone could help me secure the Manchester United black leather strap with red stitching. I would even be willing to consider buying the full set as I'm looking to add the titanium module to my collection anyway. My searches haven't turned up anything.

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm UK-based and happy to help out anyone who might need something from here.

Hi @widezu69 and welcome! 👍

I was really lucky to find the Manchester United Special Edition strap (black calfskin with red stitching), brand new from an ebay seller (who has some good contact within the TH factory)...

But this seller never had another one for sale, and you can’t order this strap to the AD, so I’m afraid the only way to have this Special strap is buying the complete set of the Manchester United Special Edition

It’s the same for all the Special Editions (Manchester United, Kingsman, Giro d’Italia, Red Bull Racing, Golf, Monopoly...): you can’t order the Special strap alone.

Being UK-based, maybe you could ask in the official TAG Heuer outlet store in Bicester Village if they can find a Manchester United set for you, because they have now the Modular 45 watches with 30% discount (discount not for the separate accessories and straps, which have retail price, the 30% discount is just for the complete watches or sets, and I think also for the mechanical modules), and for instance they have the Modular 45 Golf Edition set at great price. You can check it here:

I think Bicester Village is going to open again (after the virus lockdown) next 15th of June

Good luck with searching! and please post pictures here from your Modular Collection 👍

I heard there was a company making customs straps for the 45, but idk if they are still around. Probably not a lot of interest.

Hello all,
I am thinking of selling my TAG Heuer Connected 45 Calibre 5 module, because, since I bought the Calibre 16 Module, I never really wear it.
I am planning to put it for sale on Chrono24, but before I do this, I thought of sharing the info with all you.
The module is in excellent Mint-like condition with absolutely no scratches (apart from the contact areas with the very sharp lugs, but this, probably you know, is inevitable. These areas are anyway completely covered by the lugs, once you wear the module.
If anyone is interested, please send me a private message here.

Thank you

Very immersive collection. I love it ! If any one will be looking for to sell some of unique straps please let me know. I would like to complete my small collection of Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45.

The TH Modular concept is one of the main features of the second generation TAG Heuer Connected, so we can create our own 'Modular Collection' (45 or 41) with all the available straps, bracelets, lugs, buckles, and mechanical modules

I’m starting this thread to post here pictures of our Modular collections, just curious about the preferred TH Modular accessories and combos.

My collection started one year ago with the TH CM45 with black ceramic bezel, titanium
case, and brown calfskin strap with titanium buckle... and from then I went crazy with this modular concept 🤨 , and I spent more money than expected in this collection! 😁 This was a very clever idea from TAG Heuer 👍

I think my collection is now finished, unless I find the blue calfskin (with red stitching) strap of the Red Bull Racing Edition... not easy to find

Straps, from left to right:
- Bracelets: black ceramic and titanium
- Alcantara (suede) strap: orange Kingsman Edition
- Rubber: black with TH logos, white, black, red, orange, dark blue, and red&black
- Calfskin: brown for black buckle, brown for titanium buckle, black with red stitching (Manchester Utd Edition), black, and grey

- Buckles: 4 titanium, 8 black, and 1 Kingsman Edition (black)

From left to right:
- Lugs: rose gold, black ceramic, and titanium
- Mechanical modules: Carrera Calibre 5 and Carrera Calibre 16 Chrono
- Smartwatch modules: Black ceramic bezel with titanium case, and Kingsman Special Edition (black ceramic bezel with black case)

And three more buckles (two black ceramic, one titanium) added today to my Modular 45 collection at very reasonable price, thanks again to @J.C 👍

The new goal is for each strap to have its own buckle 🤨 😁 ... and only two black buckles are missing now!

Congrats Albert
Thanks my friend! 😀
@J.C was very helpful to find these six used buckles at good price and condition, because I would not buy them at retail price... they are really expensive! 🤦 But to have a really fast strap change (and I change them daily), each strap must have its own buckle

Albert-AMG how you store your straps. I have a couple of them and I am worried about the rubber breaking over time. I think, I already asked you this but would like to know. Have other watches that I did not use that much and the rubber strap broke in pieces.

Thanks

Hi @jucarbon !
Yes, you asked a very similar question one year ago 😉

Now my older straps are more than two years old, but they all still seem new 👍, so we can confirm that TH rubber straps are better than B&R rubber straps 😉

I store most of them in 12 original strap boxes:

with five of the rubber straps taking turns in the official display:

I have more straps than boxes, so all leather straps have its own box

but rubber straps are stored two by two in their boxes

I just wash them from time to time with hand soap and water, brushing them with an old toothbrush.
This is the older of my rubber straps, more than 2 years old, and it looks like the first day:

and as flexible and soft as the first day. No signs of cracks at all 👍

Nice thanks, Albert, for your info, will do that, I have them in a plano sealed box, but I might use the OEM strap boxes. I was cleaning them monthly with a wet microfiber. Might wash them from now on. Thanks again.
