Ha! I almost added "plus, if I moved to Europe I'd be a lot closer to Gunther..." to the end of that post but decided against it.
Im looking forward to seeing him and personally thanking for the help getting the skipper.

Well …better late than never.
I will be attending the summit this year also.
Looking forward to meeting all the forum members that will be showing their faces.
I think that’s 4 or 5 of us?
See you all soon.

Sounds like a nice trip! Unfortunately, I will be staying in northern Europe around that time. But 'we meet in the middle' later.

Thanks Jeff,
Yes, the humble Calculator, never one of the stars of the show but in my eyes a piece of beauty.
Would liked to have met you there Jeff but I take it you won’t be attending this year?

I just had three great days in Chaux de Fonds. I name a few personal highlights here; firstly the archive (I have visited the museum before). Second; a conversation with Eddy Schöpfer and third; a speech by Mr. Pin in which he mentioned how important we, collectors, are to the brand. Fourth: the visit to the dial factory and finally; finally saw the arm tattoos in real life! Plus my girlfriend, who partly accompanied me.

Congratulations to the organization. Rarely met such passionate people.

Should anyone ever have the chance to do this in the future, go for it!

Great to meet you Matt and all the others on the forum. Fully agree with you it was a fabulous event that really reinforced my love for the brand.

The museum and archive was my highlight (though had to pick the best). Just couldn’t stop smiling coming out of there.

Wonderful to see such a mix of vintage and more current models from the collectors - never seen so many Abercrombie dials, some amazing collections of Formula 1s through to a current Rattrapante. Met some of the longstanding collectors/experts I’ve been learning from for so long but not met. And a mix of young passionate collectors to oldies like me!

Mr. Biebuyck was surprised with the variety of watches.
Table of dreams right there!
Nice to see a 3000 and a Titanium 👍
