Hi All

I am a new member on the Omega Forum. I live in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

I am a keen watch enthusiast and amateur watch collector. My first serious watch was an IWC Portofino as I could not afford my heart's desire at the time, the IWC Big Pilot. I eventually got the opportunity to buy the IWC BP in 2002.

I lived in the UK last year and was lucky to purchase a couple of Omega Speedmasters. Currently I own a 145.012-67, 145.0022 circa 1984, Silver Snoopy LE, Speedmaster '57, 40th Ann Apollo XI LE, 50th Ann LE and 25th Ann Apollo XIII LE.

I have also been very fortunate to reserve a Speedy Tuesday and can't wait to receive it.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. I'm still getting used to posting a normal "post", but I will do my best with the photos.

Oddboy, there are 3 things that I love about the 50th besides it being a Speedmaster: (1) Column wheel chrono (2) finishes of Caliber 3201 (3) black enamel dial - photos do not do justice to the deep blackness of the enamel - IMHO.

Andreas, I bought the Apollo 13 25th Ann last week and waiting to arrive from Germany (have never imported a watch so new experience). Next on my wishlist is the Speedymoon and 40th Ann of Speedmaster. Also asked my AD, who is going to Baselworld to get me the 60th Ann should one be released.
