I got an 1175 with 640 end links and had them brushed to match the finish on the ST.
I think it looks great and I love the vintagish look of the square flat links on the bracelet.

When I went to collect my ST this afternoon I took along a 1171/633 bracelet and asked if they would fit it to see if I liked the look. They showed me that it was a tight fit and advised against it unless I didn’t mind the lugs getting scratched.
I will consider some of the other alternatives mentioned here.

I’ve been looking for a 1175 bracelet ever since I seen your post a couple of months ago on the ST facebook page. This is a winning combination!

I don't have a Speedy Tuesday but recently purchased a new reference Speedy Pro on strap. Prior to reading this thread, I ordered a new 1171/633 for the watch via my AD. Now I'm nervous given what I have read here. Typically when I install or remove bracelets, I tape the back of the lugs so as to minimize the chance that I scratch the lugs when setting the end links against the case. Of course, I suppose that wouldn't help any if one wanted to remove the bracelet. Has anyone ascertained what action is causing the scratching? The installation, the removal or just movement while on the watch. Maybe all of the above?

Chap on Facebook posted this showing what the modern Speedy bracelet endlinks have done to the lugs of his watch

Just my opinion, but I would say that some of that lug scratching is more consistent with attempts to put on a bracelet with the typical thicker spring bars that come with the Speedmasters (and Rolex as well). It's not an easy fit unless you change down the spring bars slightly. And speaking of this, after a couple of months of trying different straps and a few under-lug scratches (btw, I am sure the ST case and case back is a scratch magnet) I have finally settled on the 1098/575 fits snugly and was an easy fit. I like bracelets that are a bit rattly and feel loose so a little link stretch is no deal breaker for me.

I realize this is an older thread, but thought I'd contribute my choice. I found a 1957/957 on eBay. IMO a great combo because the bracelet utilizes the same vintage Omega logo the dial does (so it carries some assemblance of being purposeful), but still has the modern bracelet design with screw-head pins.

That's the 50th anniversary bracelet/clasp, looks great, surprised you found one secondhand.

I believe it has 19mm lugs and would not fit
Uncle Seiko does a flat link bracelet in 19 or 20mm, all brushed or brushed inner / polished outer. I have ordered one, $102 including postage.

I got my ST on a modern 1171 bracelet! Looks pretty good if you ask me... But @ndgal 's combo with the 1175 is even better! Anyone selling a 1175 bracelet? 😀

Yep! I was surprised too. The watches are hard enough to find let alone the standalone bracelet. Got lucky on this one.

Have you considered getting the 2017 nato?
Yeah, I had mine on both the leather and that speedy tuesday NATO it came with for awhile, but nothing has felt as right as the bracelet for me. Kinda bummed (as is the point of this thread) that a bracelet wasn't an option to begin with on this edition.

Ohhhh makes sense, I actually feel the opposite with on bracelets, I grew up with them but now I find them cumbersome, I will wear a nato all day since the feeling of steel is getting to me, plus it’s easier to clean than just scrubbing every single inch of the bracelet out of grime and sweat! I understand though I am in the process of getting another bracelet to say the least good luck!

I'm late to the party, but I would prefer 1479/812, but could not find one.

Then my second choice would be 3861 bracelet.
