Best omega bracelet for speedy Tuesday?

Hey everyone. I'm a little disappointed that the speedy tuesday does not come with a steel bracelet and I was hoping to add one. My omega AD is willing to order whichever one I want. Could someone please advise me of the best bracelet for this model? I would really appreciate a reference number for the bracelet especially. Pictures are also great if anyone has them .

Thanks OF,

Josh

1171 is the best new option the dealer can order, 1450 is the best overall but its old rare and expensive as hell.

1447 looks pretty slick too. Also vintage, also not easy to find.

1175 also works well, a bit more like a vintage flat link bracelet than the 1171 and often cheaper.

I really like the 1171 with the ST, be aware if you have a wrist smaller than 6.5" there's a good chance you won't be able to make it small enough, I wear mine on second from last clasp hole with all removable links out.

As this thread was sorely missing pics I've lifted these from the ST fbook page.

Personally I think I like the modern bracelet the most.

No, the modern (latest screw) bracelet is 1958/957.

Ok thank you. So I will have to decide between the modern and 1171 thanks 😀.

1998/849 is the predecessor of the 1958/957. The 1998 uses pins, the 1958 uses crews.

Thanks! People generally prefer the 1171 over the 1998 on the ST? Opinions appreciated😀. Leaning towards the 1171.

I have a new 1171/633 bracelet and I couldn't fit it to my ST. The 633 end links are appear to be a touch wider than what the lugs can accept. Instead of messing with the end links or scratching the lugs I gave up and ordered a 1958/957.

Anyone else experienced this with a new (not vintage) 1171/633?

Does anyone know if the bracelet on the 60th anniversary LE fits normal Moonwatch cases? Because that bracelet looks superb especially on a model like this.

I believe it has 19mm lugs and would not fit

I wonder... if you could remove the stock endlink and run a 633 or a modified 633 to make it fit a 20mm... hmmm... probably not available easily either as its an LE bracelet but that I'd love to have... even on my 105.002 it'd look great for daily wear.

Did you acquire your bracelet from a boutique? If so, did they offer to exchange or refund your purchase?

Something must be off, because the Speedmaster lug width has been constant at 20mm following the introduction of the 105.012 case reference, and all 20mm endlonks, beginning with 16, 516, 633, and onward are interchangeable with the case. They are all 20mm, and designed to work with the Speedmaster Professional case. In fact, the 1171/633 is also the bracelet for the 20mm Seamaster 300 165.024 cases.

Any other comparable experiences from OF family members, either positive or negative with an 1171/633 bracelet on their ST?

I would also really appreciate some feedback because this is the option i was leaning towards...would hate to order it and it not fit! (1171/633)

Mine was a very snug fit from the packet but it fit fine without any filling of the end links required.

Would you care to post a picture of your ST showcasing the 1171 😀 ? Many thanks for the information.
