Not surprising if they were selling the Carbon Monza for £ 12k
I thought exactly the same thing. In fact, I was expecting them to price the Monaco a little higher, glad they didn't.

The Monaco looks better to me in this live pic as well.
I could hear George Banford screaming in his London loft - "They copied my bl00dy carbon case idea !" 😎

Monaco looks amazing in this video. WOTY for me.
Have to agree, the Monaco looks hot on the wrist in this video.
One of the rare times that a watch looks better live than in the render. Hurrah 🥳
Price too high for me but makes me want to add the Bamford to my own collection.

I've read that the hands, hour markers and sub-dial surrounds of the Monaco are black gold. If that helps anyone swallow the price easier. 😜

The caseback of the Monaco is the star for me. The edge to edge sapphire (based on the rattrapante) needs to be commercialised

I loved their implementation on the Twenty Four, combined with the suspended movement.

You maybe right, but it's unclear. TAG had an Instagram story, now gone, that said black gold.

On the website it says the subdial surrounds are black gold and hands are black gold plated. But no mention of the hour markers, which was also pointed out as black gold in the Instagram story. 🤷‍♂️

My ice diver has black gold plated hands and indices, they sparkle like diamonds under the light. I am sure it looks great on the Monaco too

The caseback and movement finishing goes back to the 2021 OnlyWatch Carbon Monaco. Which I actually like more than the Rattrapante Monaco.

Black gold is always a coating.
You cannot make, at least for now, a gold alloy that is black. So it's "solid brass with a coating that is called black gold". But for sure, doesn't sound as good as "Black gold"

As expected, TAG Heuer takes inspiration from its past. The Astronomer is like the great grandchild of the Heuer Solunar.

Does anyone know anything about a green and black Carrera Extreme Sports GMT?
