Thank you for the feedback and your feelings on this. I look at my collection and feel it really needs an evil panda of some sort as apposed to a regular panda. That being said every time I see a vintage Carrera panda posted I go "man that's nice". I look forward to its release as well. I don't mind the "depreciation" of a watch. There are few that bought at retail retain it. Its the comparative value. I would hope that if we are above 7K for a watch its at least COSC.

The TAG Heuer Carrera from Watches of Switzerland is the only one that I own . . . but this was taken at a recent GTG.

Totally understandable given your JH85 Autavia Panda and Silver 160th. I'm with you on COSC.

The panda will be 7100 euro. The silver king was 6.400
That’s (normally) quite a bit out of my comfort zone, too, but not utterly ridiculous when you compare it to current list prices of the Monaco.

Guess I’ll at least swing by the local TH boutique for more news...

How does a perf leather strap compare to an alligator strap price wise?

Haven't seen any. But I'm led to believe it'll be a glassbox similar to this with a leather rally strap and pin buckle.
So by the look of it, we should expect a silver dial watch of Switzerland Carrera

Doesn't it seem odd they would release them so close together?

One has Heuer on the dial, the other has Tag Heuer on the dial. Slightly different audiences perhaps.

Yeah. But you'd think the WOS was aimed at the Heueristas who had given up hope. Then again only 250, they've probably all gone.

That's what I thought....
Non-gator is nowadays certainly way less hassle for a watch company from a worldwide logistics point of view…

I think it's just the greed now speaking up - the WOS Panda, the gold Panda (supposed JH90) and now the 60th ann. Panda.

How many 60th Anniversary Carreras we gonna get? And what happened to the 50th anniversary?

I haven't done the History of the Carrera yet (still in progress) so apologies if this is a stupid question - 2013 was just before I started to get interested...

This is the 50th Anniversary TAG Heuer Carrera signed by the Legendary Jack Heuer in 2013 😉

There were other versions of this TAG Heuer Carrera Bullhead Calibre 1887 if my memory serves me correct

Well, the 2021 WOTY was a Carrera Reverse Panda (albeit single register). Also, in @kappa_md's native language Dato means the leader, so sort of a King?
Yes sir! 👍

Ah, right all those Bullheads that I used to see in Bicester Village every time I went there...
