The 1171 bracelet is a true classic that has been on the market since the early 70s. Initially with screwed links, later with push pins. And over time with different clasp covers, it stayed the same. Simple, clean - understated and versatile.

I love wearing my Speedmasters on a 1171. It is a robust bracelet with a great design.



Older occurrences (11) of that bracelet have a better look & feel than the later modern ones (32) imo.

I fit one to a 2254.50.00 just to see if I could. Was successful.

I like the feel of the 1171 on my wrist, but I prefer the look of the 1039/516 combo.

I find my SM300/1171 a great combination, light and comfortable.

I've been really intrigued by various Speedmaster bracelet options lately. I'm not particularly enamored with vintage, but I LOVE the simpler look. I wish the 1171 or 1450 were more affordable.
