Zenith + Bamford + Mr Porter

What are your thoughts on the new collaboration between Zenith and Bamford? They are releasing a Chronomaster El Primero Solar Blue Limited Edition(25 pc) Automatic Chronograph in 38mm.

Something I could wear, unlike the tarted up rolexes Bamford used to cobble together. Clear dial, reasonable diameter. Nice!

It’s a refreshingly nice looking watch - from Bamford. I still don’t get the collaboration between them and certain LVMH brands.

I'm a fan of the styling. I like the small design nods to previous models in Zeniths history.

Curious to see what it looks like in reality, whether the dial is matte or shimmers.

This is surprisingly tasteful. I really like the blue. When I saw "Bamford" I thought it would end up looking like this again:

It is indeed polarizing. Just having Bamford on the dial is enough to scare me away but I am not their target market.

This was the Thierry Nataf era.... It reminds us Zenith went through a lot of difficult stages.... Lol

A whole mix of vintage inspired design cues. The hour markers and pyramid minute hash marks look A3818, they were also used on the Autosport Luxe.

I actually like it, reminds me a bit of the A3818 with the pyramid minute track. A little “bland” but agree with other posters, much better than I expected from Bamford.

I like it so much ... I miss the opportunity to take it new, so I look and wait, wait and look, and finally it is in my wrist ... and what I can say is that is much better on the wrist than in pictures

I am now in the honeymoon, like a child with a new toy

By the way, it has the same number of the limited edition than my A386 Revival, so I can’t be more happy!!

the perimeter of the dial reminds me of frosted windshield, as hit slowing disappears from the inside of your car in winter, with the heat on.
