Got another teaser email this morning... So it seems it will be a GMT Superman.

A bit of a bummer for those who recently bought the current model (with the eta 2893-2 movement).

here are some of my supermen. The bonus is that the wife thinks they are all just one watch!

so you have the superfriends. 😀

my wife also thinks and feels the same about my watches with same brands. 😀

Thought I would contribute a couple of yachting examples. Both picked up in France a few years ago

Especially poignant is a Rallye I pick up at a previous @Time4APint gathering a few years ago:

250$ for a movement replacement... 99$ for calendar... But no news on the new watches

Just checked their website and from what I can see, the Flygraf, Navygraf and the Superman Bronze now comes with the new movement.

You collect yemas too?

What other brands do you collect? Which ones do you stay away from?

Yea, I'm waiting to see their new GMT as well. I really like them and would probably pick one up once their in-house movement is up and running. I also really like the way their Meca-Quartz Rallygraf look too and hope they do go fully manual or automatic on them.

just an accidental and whimsical yema collection. Most in my stash are seiko, omega, citizen, rolex and now yema.

there really is no brand i deliberately stay away from. I just get watches that i like regardless how of the brand.

Seems they have launched the new GMT in house movement. Is it one with an independent hour hand?

I’m still a bit confused if they have officially launched the new GMT. Only saying this because of this kick starter project launching on Oct 15th.

In terms of the GMT having an independent hour hand, I’m also confused about this as well!

From Yema’s website:

‘YEMA has also developed an in-house GMT caliber in order to meet the growing demand for this type of movement. The new in-house Caliber YEMA3000 benefits from the improved YEMA2000 3-hands movement as a base with the addition of a GMT complication entirely developed by YEMA’s watchmakers team.’

Cool for the Navygraf, it has been tempting me for quite some months... I think I'll prefer it to my Superman. I might need to sell my superman first though

got an email from yema re new movement. That’s why i thought launched already.

if their existing GMTs do not have independent hour hands, i would suppose this new movement should be an improvement.

there’s a fully automatic rallygraf. It has a non quickset date though.
