Meanwhile I'm finding that I'm taking mine off whenever I head out for errands or walks since I'm too self-conscious wearing a yellow-metal watch. I worry people will think it's gold, which is a negative for me 😵‍💫 Prob up for sale soon if anyone missed out on the Kickstarter and wants it.

Really do love looking at it in private in my apartment though, lol

Man, I hope you still put that Technics 1200 turntable in use. I still have my pair and would still make an occasional mixed tape with them.

I used to DJ and have had many technics 1200s this one is used as a home made record washer. I have put $1k arms on 1200s and they really are not that good even with every upgrade you can imagine, but they make a fine record washer!
But in all honesty, they are great to DJ with but they are no good for critical listening,.

Speaking of the 63, I cannot believe Yema has been re-releasing their limited editions. First the skin-diver style Superman 63 with the coffin bracelet (tripling the number of pieces), now the new GMT with the in-house movement is available in the blue-grey colorway of the original Superman GMT LE. Think I'll hold off on buying any new Yemas and wait for them to depreciate on the secondary market, since it won't be so hard to get ahold of them after all... 🤦

63 X 3. @timesofplenty my Yema in the middle is also a 5 liner with the same bezel block (earlier ones are just flat and not folded axially) and with the same case back inscription. My other two are earlier and the Yema on the right is the earliest and has a red bezel block.

A very exciting day, I have achieved my grail! Here is a Yema Superman 550016. This is a transitional version with a gloss black dial, “patent pending” on dial, shovel second hand, and Bakelite bezel with closed 4. And the condition is quite nice indeed!

A very exciting day, I have achieved my grail! Here is a Yema Superman 550016. This is a transitional version with a gloss black dial, “patent pending” on dial, shovel second hand, and Bakelite bezel with closed 4. And the condition is quite nice indeed!

Santa just dropped this down the chimney. My ‘60s inspired ref. 5114 WRISTMASTER…off the Nov. Kickstarter campaign. Love the barrel shape and clean dial -Very well balanced IMO. the cross hair and baton hands and luminous dots under the raised steel furniture are a nice touch…Hope the Y2000 movement
Does indeed keep to +\- 10secs..Non travail

Really nice looking watch. I was really tempted on that one just to get the book. Hopefully they sell it separately.
