I just see that the Skywalker is "Out of Stock" and the Solar Impulse is in stock. It doesn't say it's not currently available (as in discontinued).

"...This product is currently unavailable. Subscribe to product stock alert..." doesn't look like discontinued to me. Same as "Out of Stock". PS: Seriously not trying to bust anyone's balls. 馃

Stupid question, when did Omega stop producing the Skywalker X-33? On Omega's website, it says that the X-33 isn't currently available.
As Larryganz says, that means it isn't available to purchase through their website directly. If it were, you would see an "Add to Cart" button. That doesn't mean it has been discontinued. (Now it is available, so the "Add to Cart" button is back. Omega would do well to use less confusing language, since I think a lot of people can easily misunderstand and assume things are being discontinued when they're simply out of stock at Omega Central.)

I'll have the info soon guys, I went to swatch group to get the titanium micro clasp but the clasp links were wrong. We did some digging and she ordered the clasp links this bracelet needs to make it all work. What she did was use the SS counterpart to test fit it and ordered the titanium version so I'll have all the part number to share. Damn thing is going to cost me close to $600 USD but damn the costs I say! She was also pissed because Ti parts don't sell and shes going to be looking at the wrong clasp links on her shelf a long time.
How did the clasp change work out for you? I find it frustrating that even though the X-33 Gen 3 came out the same year as the Seamaster 300, they didn't include a micro-adjustable clasp. After owning both a Seamaster 300 and a ceramic Submariner, I find it difficult to go back to the older style clasps. An upgraded clasp would make this watch much more attractive to me (although I'm still concerned about the need to send the watch in to Omega every two years for a battery change).

Same thing happened to me, where I got the wrong clasp links, but in my case I鈥檓 stuck with them.

They had such a hard time finding the right clasp links that I鈥檓 reluctant to have them try ordering different ones. So I鈥檓 sitting on my 1151 Ti clasp until I get the courage to reorder, but their system has changed and we still don鈥檛 know the right part number.

What clasp links worked for you?

- Backlight. Use of the watch is extremely limited in the dark. Once the button is pressed it'll stay illuminated for 5 seconds and shut off. This means an alarm can't be setup using the backlight which really frustrates me. I may doze off and remember I need to wake at a certain time only to have to turn on the light so I can see and activate it. In programming mode the button to illuminate will inadvertently exit the programming mode. I really think that it should have been designed to keep illumination on if a user immediately entered any setting mode after activating the backlight. At that point it could stay on until program mode has been exited.

Cheers!

Hello!

Maybe they fixed this issue with the new iteration of the X-33, the Marstimer.

I noticed that the manual of instructions says something different about it (see picture below):
