Where to buy vintage watch parts

Hi all,

Where is the best place to look for vintage accessorises in the UK ?

Im after a 6251H bracelet for a 1601.

Ive had a quick search here and couldn't see one, just wondering where else is best to go, Ebay, other forums ?

I would certainly check eBay, especially if you know enough to distinguish authentic from fake.

I can get by, mainly by looking at the forums here as people are fairly more detail obsessed than me.

I miss being friends with a vintage watch dealer, had to leave the country to move home but he was a great friend to have 馃槀

You can get vintage Rolex bracelets all day long on eBay (as long as like Dan says, you can spot fakes). I鈥檇 also suggest looking on international eBay sites. Sometimes its cheaper to buy from the US and pay import duty than it is to buy from the UK.

I鈥檇 just caveat that by saying returns are obviously more complicated when buying from outside the UK so you鈥檝e got to either have confidence in what you鈥檙e buying or be prepared to take the occasional loss.
