When did Omega start using OM on gold dial

Hello fellows OFs,
I saw this 168.006 for sale (5k€). It has OM dial. The serial number indicates this watch was produced in 1962. But I thought Omega didn’t use OM until late 60’. So what do you guys think!? Thank you for your opinion.

The "OM" to the left of SWISS does mean "Or massif", but the one to the right of "MADE" mean "On Monday". 😀

Apart from the date:
The papers say 168.005
The dial doesn’t have the look of a gold dial of the era.
I.e. the wide flat onyx inserts.

From memory, I think you will find Omega earlier than ‘73 with OM on them.
Late 60s and early 70s spring to mind.

it’s a very famous thing at the Speedmaster BA145.022 as well, produced from 1969 to ~1972.
