What Year Was OmegaForums Founded?

I did a search... could not find a definitive answer which I know is out there somewhere.

I just recently joined OF, but for years was active in a variety of watch forums; Paneristi.com, Timezone, VintageRolexForum, and a few others.

I stopped active participation over 10 years ago. The pandemic has given me more free time and decided to join the fray... I鈥檓 a little rusty, I make mistakes, and a lot don鈥檛 get my sense of humor. And what is tapatalk?

What other forums are you involved with?

Well, the founders of the site joined in March of 2011, so that is a pretty good timeframe for the forum start.

To your question, I am a member (as are we all) of the sister site - Caliber11 - mainly for my desire for a birth year Camero....(1972 for those of you wanting to part with one 馃榾馃憤) I visit the nwacc site, but only as a voyeur, not a contributor. Others I visit when they show up in a Google search.

This is my "watch home".

Forum founders @Trev and @dsio will know for sure 馃憤 but I think this is the first thread:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/the-great-big-introductions-thread.20/
I did a search for "when was Omega Forums founded"... nada, but didn't read the "great-big-introductions-thread", just thought it was a general hello and how to do things on the site, and being that I had experience on previous sites, I didn't read... sort of like not reading the fine print. I tried... but thanks, 2011, fairly new.

Going by the tone of the first few years, it ought to be a limited edition Constellation, preferably in solid gold 馃榿
