·I just finished Cormac McCarthy's Child of God. Even by his standards it is pretty bleak with a truly deranged bad guy. Beautifully written, though.

·I finished an Inspector Rebus book by Ian Rankin. I have read about 20 of them now. Currently reading a history book about daily life of everyday people in Georgian London called Hustlers, Harlots and Heroes.

·Just recently on vacation and browsing the books on the shelf at the little place we stayed, I had a couple hours of down time due to heavy rain and picked up Richard Bode - First You Have to Row a Little Boat. Super quick read, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

·I'm pretty sure I've read that, but I reserved it from the library just in case. I read so many books that it's hard to keep track, and the app doesn't always track my reading history.
I really enjoyed it. Read it in about four hours at one of my treatments. Couldn't put it down.

·I actually read this one almost a year ago now, but as I’m just hoping into this thread for the first time I figured I’d share, it’s definitely been by favourite of the spy genre in quite a while…highly recommend.

·Just finished reading "The chimp paradox" by Steve Peters, i really like the personal growth subject and this book was really helpful.
It analyses probably things we already know exist in our brain, but giving them a names and analysing the links amongst them helps linking dots about things we already know, but can't really understand
