Were these Seiko made Honda F1 models?

I came across this watch on ebay then there's this one as well. Does anyone know if these were made by Seiko for Honda? Its really hard to find any kind of info on these vintage pieces, but they do look very similar in styling to the likes of a 7A28-7170 (same pushers even). Any help would be appreciated.

I’d say this pretty clearly answers your question.

Alright, will edit my post.
The info is there to tell you what month and year it was made as well.

That’s not a bad design, it’s a shame Honda left when they did and missed out on the 2009 win

Am i missing something? I don't know Seikos very well, so when you've quoted me with "this pretty clearly answers your question", it didn't answer anything.

I did. What am i supposed to see? Was the movement supposed to be signed by Seiko?

I would think that if Honda sourced one from China, then they would do the same with all of their watches, and most likely with all of their merchandise. There is no loyalty in big business, just the just the number of digits following the $sign.

The second watch (VX11-5A00) is probably a resale of a watch sold on this site in Japan.
If you check this site and translate it, you can get some more information.
The Japanese seller describes it as made by Seiko.

That's why i originally made this thread. I don't trust sellers much. Seller saying that its made by Seiko without any proof isn't enough, so i wanted to see what the Seiko community thinks.

I think you will find that the YM57A movements are made in China as well . Epson are based in Hong Kong. It is a direct replacement for the 7t27 Seiko movement I believe.

The watch is from the 90's. Do you think that the YM57A was made in HK back then? Not too sure what "Japan" does on the movement if they're made in HK

For those that just want to learn, is there a decoded version of the comments above?

We know Seiko has suppliers for movements outside of Japan. Does the China reference mean it's a fake because Seiko doesn't source from China.

Frankly, I didn't think Honda was at the top in 1964, (but might be wrong), so I thought that was the tell it was fake. I don't know for sure though.
