Hi guys! Hope you're all fine.
Let's play a little game. I discovered a new watchmaker. the first who discover wins, hm, all ma congrats 馃榾
some pics. Please don't track them on google, play the game and give your impressions
I love it but am curious about the gold/brass train wheels showing among all those shades of gray.
Based just on the third and sixth photos in, it may not be all shades of grey. That shows the dial to be gold-ish, so the brass may not be such a stark contrast.
I know that guy.
I even shook his hand and held his masterpiece a few monthes ago.
He's living about 200 km from my place.
This guy is really really nice.
LM are his initials...
I can't remember if this watch is based on a 6497 or a 6498 though.
As for the map, He doesn't live any longer in the area but some are getting closer. Definitly not MB&F 馃榾.
My words " a new watchmaker" was not really correct. He has some experience. I meant he's new to me.
I didn't know that LM has moved.
Anyway, that's where I met him.
I meant evening.
I'm about to cook dinner for Her Majesty so when she gets in from work it'll all be ready. That way she won't ask me if I've been on the internet all day or hiding in my study working on watches instead of garden upkeep, housework etc.
All the things a retired "kept man" has to do.
Well, I give up LM.... recently moved to the Loz猫re region (south west of France) after 9 years in Swizerland). he was a MOF (meilleur ouuvrier de France/ best french worker). The MOF is a contest in various manual specialities like wood works, p芒tisserie, stone carving, bread making and so on.
