Watch straps

Hi,
I have a 42mm Carrera incoming and I would like to purchase a second strap for it.
I would like to preserve the original strap if possible.
(It comes with leather that's only going to deteriorate.)

I've looked on TH's own website and they don't list the strap for my watch. I'm surprised, as although it's discontinued, it's hardly an old model....

So, I'd like to ask, where is the best place to purchase TH watch straps, if not from TAG Heuer?
Ideally, with a new clasp.

Phil,
Contact TAG Heuer in your country. They may be able to special order your strap and clasp. These usually are better priced than gray dealers.

Hello Hubert,
I will drop them an email. It certainly doesn't appear on their website.

Unfortunately TAG has not yet realised that they can profit from marketing and offering accessories like straps for their watches. Maybe one day 👍🏻

Even though it's not listed on their website, chances are any TH Boutique or AD would be able to order in a spare strap in for you.

The Vegas Boutique has helped me to obtain many OEM straps, from very old '90s era OEM replacement straps to current straps for limited edition models. None of which appear on TAG's website.

Ah, ok. Thank you very much. Good call.

Speaking of straps, I'm trying out some aftermarket straps for my 2000 chronograph. With a lug width of 20 mm, I can use these straps for several other watches which is great!

I prefer the bracelet, but I think the leather strap provides a bit of a different "dressy" look. I know - leather straps and dive watches seem to be contradictory. But this chronograph to me is more of an all around sporty watch. The reverse panda dial reminds me of a racing watch.

I also like the dark blue rubber strap which matches the dial nicely. Plus, I can swim with the rubber strap! Both straps are from Archer Watch Straps and feature built-in quick release spring bars. Very convenient. I haven't had any issues with these quick release spring bars. Anyone else have any experience with them?

Some pics for fun...

As others have stated, check with your local TAG Heuer Service Centre. I was able to purchase from my local TAG Heuer Service Centre a NOS bracelet for my Classic 2000 which is approaching 30 years old. You won't find any information about NOS items on TAG's website.

You can also check out Authentic Watches as they sell TAG Heuer bracelets and straps. They seem more expensive, but if they have the right bracelet/strap for you, then it could be worth it. I've included a link to their selection of Carrera bracelet/straps below:

Good luck!
