Watch Newbie: Could Use Some Advice On First Omega

Hello guys/gals,

Looking at getting my first and probably only luxury watch for many years.

I know that I want an Omega and I know that I want an automatic movement. Don't need a chronograph but it isnt necessarily a negative if it has one.

Budget is around 2k. I could go a little higher if needed. I am not averse to getting a used one if it's in great shape.
I like the blue vs the black.

Any ideas?

I would check the sales threads on some of the watch forums. A blue Seamaster automatic would be somewhere around $1,500-$2,000 depending on the model. You won't find one brand new for that price though.
