You're on your way to having one of each of these:
A nice family photo and a worthy goal I should think!
I once owned the uppermost, assuming that's a leather band, but think mine had just the date. Bought it at a little jewelry store in Mohringen, Germany near Stuttgart. Blue dial really popped with the step dial. Great watch!
Hi All! First of all let me say that this is an amazing collection of Tissot watches that you are sharing here! Really beautiful.
Let me however ask you for some help if possible.
Many years ago my mother used to own a Tissot watch which was gifted to her by her parents sometime back in the 1960's I think. Several years ago she somehow lost this watch and I was thinking that it would be great to find this model somewhere and give it back to her. The problem is that I have no clue about the particular model nor the year - only some features that I remember - maybe you can help me with finding it or can direct me to a website/thread that can help me?
Features of Tissot I am looking for:
- stainless steel
- year of manufacture: 1962-1968
- case: rectangular
- dial: black
- hands: white
- elipsse shaped glass
- bulky/chunky, entry level model most probably
oh - and it is none of the watches shown on pics in this thread
Thanks for any help here!
I have two Tissot PRS 516 chronographs that are my most accurate mechanical watches--except for possibly my Apollo 11th 50th. They're both big thick watches, but I love them both.
Sorry for the stock photos, but I couldn't find my wrist shots.
