·Hi all,
A friend of mine has been attracted to my recently acquired vintage IWC cal 89.
As luck would have it for him, an identical one popped up for sale in Singapore. He's going to talk to the seller and look closely at the dial to check for a redial.
My question though is about the box and the buckle:
1. The box seems authentic, but is it correct for the period (1960's?) for this watch? Googling 'vintage IWC box' throws up a wide range of box types and sizes 😕
2. I have no clue though about the buckle - real or fake? (looks a bit crudely done)
Opinions most helpful, it's been quite fascinating learning about vintage IWCs... thanks!
