Hi there

I am being offered a Heuer Autavia, which looks great!!!

So great!!!! I immediately went into "possibly extreme BS ahead" mode ... (been burnt before ๐Ÿ˜—)

Since Heuer is not exactly my turf, I would like to ask the collective knowledge here on help ...

so, I'd be VERY grateful for any opinions - the good the bad and the ugly - from you

cheers,
Al

Yes, it's a 1163 Autavia.

Looks like it has just come back from a service, given the sticker on the back (it's not a NOS piece, or at least doesn't look to be from these photos).

The lume looks to be freshly applied- both on the hands and the hour-markers. The lume plots at 3, 6 and 9 are too large and don't look to have been applied well (from one of the photos it looks like some marks on the dial around the 9 o'clock lume plot? Could be the crystal).

The dial is missing the red flashes at each hour marker- see the image below from Watchuseek (the lume on the hour markers looks to have been redone on this one too, although hands look original)
