ยทI bought a certified Aqua Terra 2518.50 from a decent size online shop but after bringing it to a dealer and to an independent reseller they were both unable to shorten the links, and due to this the latter raised doubts about the origins of the watch, or at least the bracelet. There are no box or papers but the shop sells it as Certified.
I've since sent it back and the shop I bought from have inspected it and tells me the problem is due to rusty pins in the bracelet. I have no reason to believe that it is a fake but the experience makes me a bit more cautious. I've tried to compare the bracelet to other ones online but unfortunately I didn't grab great pitcures of it. Something that sticks out to me is that some of the pins near the lug are quite large looking and recessed on my watch, anyone know more about this? This is not the case for the other pins further down the bracelet, they look like you would expect them to. Sorry about the not great images. If the text look a bit blurry, it's because the image is shot in low lighting so most likely due to the noise reduction.
