Does anyone know if the bracelet could be a replacement, I can't seem to find (on Google) another 222 with all steel bracelet with gold bezel/crown.

and I'd love to see pics if anyone has one..
You shouldn't be making it public, I have been looking for this for almost a year. The 37mm I mean.... And I really shouldnt be buying another watch T_T

fyi the hand seems correct for the 37mm version.the 34mm version will have some variations for the hand, dial looks right for a gold and steel. But no idea about bracelet.... Fwiw found pictures of the jumbo steel gold, interestingly, I never saw a steel gold with gold crown ever either (all steel crowns)

Have you considered contacting Alex from The Hour Lounge? Alex was the VC Mod on PuristS before Vacheron created their own discussion site and named Alex as director. He's very friendly and obviously very knowledgeable.

If u can give mr. Ghotbi the serial number and movement number together. He can look up the records and tell you whether it is genuine or not. I think the seller provided one of those 2 already just have to ask for the other one.

You may consider joining this very informative forum. Similar to this wonderful group there are several very knowledgeable and friendly members. I would ask your questions in the discussion section and get ready for some very informed responses.

FWIW, I was keen enough to ask mr. Ghotbi, his advise was to stay away as bracelet doesn't match. Regardless, out of my bad curiosity, I was also the winning bidder. And I did ask the seller to open the case in which they refused. The method to open the case is not normal but still quite simple as per below.

http: vacheron.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-14/pi-4268553/ti-673158/t-vacheron-vc-222-an-inside-look/

So in the end, all of that was for naught.....

I'm somewhat confused. However that's pretty normal for me ;-( Did you buy the watch?

I am afraid I did not, too many alarms set off (bracelet, crown, Alex ghotbi, seller refuse to open the case despite being provided with the guide....)

I actually suggested to them to actually include pictures of movement before they relist though, it could probably even help them double the outcome of the auction...

Good job!
Not really, I really could do with out another watch..... My problem is I get carried away with these things, imagine if the seller did open the case and it did prove to be genuine....

I think it's probably a good thing that you did not buy this particular watch. This one was posted on PuristS that may still be available.

Actually I should say it is a blessing it is not 37mm. 😜 I need to stay discipline and not purchase more watch for a while.
