Have you checked old-omegas.com ?
Lots of booklets manuals.

Thank you for that recommendation, what an interesting content 👍👍👍

Sadly no info about how a jewelry can shorten a bracelet of the BA145.022.

Ohjeah ::psy::

It’s that great original condition, that it is maybe to good to be worn from time to time 🙄

I sure hope not! Wear it. The key here is “from time fo to time”, it’s only Christmas once a year. 😉

Hi,

has anyone a manual / pictures of how to size the bracelet? I dont want to give it without any info to a jeweler.

Thank you,
Hans

Shot in the dark.

I think the gold is similar to the steel 1116 bracelet, in which case the links are either screws or push-pin with springs.

Here's a contact that might have more info:

Well

Thank you, but that is exactly the point: It has no screws and no push-pins, it can only be done by a gold jeweler that is able to open the folded gold bracelet pieces somehow 😬 Maybe thats the point why most of the Ba145.022 still come with a full length bracelet…or why the astronauts had them hanging around their wrists loosely.

Looks like a custom job indeed.

Do the centre links open from the front, the back or from the side?

No, they are 100% closed. There is no visible opening.

Take your time and keep asking questions. Other people must have had the same issue with this watch in the past, or lately.
Maybe you don’t need a watchmaker but a jeweller / goldsmith.

I had a link removed from my solid silver 70s bracelet and it needed to be cut out, and welded back together. There is a slight dent in the last link near the end. For this it doesn’t matter, for your delicates bracelet I’d be happy to have it done with no sings whatsoever. For you it needs to be done in a professional manner.

Cheers
