Dear Forum,

I am offering for sale a Universal Genève Wilhelmina / Webersdorfer - reference 31250, manufactured c.1941. This is a well known and documented reference, one of the few service watches from UG - we still seem to be on the fence whether it was for the Dutch Royal Army or for the Wehrmacht.

Please see below an article for further reference:

This particular timepiece is beautifully aged, with original lume, and was serviced a couple of months ago (service invoice included in the sale). The dial is in excellent condition.

Key technical specs
- Brand / Model: Universal Genève - Wilhelmina / Webersdorfer - ref. 31250

- Year: 1940-1941

- Case diameter: 30 mm excluding crown

- Case material / finish: Chromed steel case (plating shows age / plating loss - typical for these examples)

- Crystal: Acrylic (replaced, entirely new)

- Dial: Black military-style dial with Arabic numerals and lume; original and in excellent condition

- Hands: Original minute & seconds hands; hour hand replaced (matching lume)

- Movement: Universal Genève Caliber 262 - manual winding, small-seconds; running perfectly after recent service

- Crown: service crown, not original

- Service: Full service completed a couple months ago - service invoice included with sale

- Lug width: 16mm
