Ulysse Nardin Chronometre identification

Dear Forum Members,

A co-worker asked if I would post the attached photos in hopes that someone here may be able to provide more information about this watch. It's his grandfather's (original owner), currently in his dad's possession. Excuse the quality of the photos and sorry there are no movement or case back photos.

We've done some Googling in hopes of finding more info, but haven't seen anything yet. No intention of selling it, simply want to know more about it if possible. They have the original box, but no papers which might have been helpful in learning more.

Vey likely a redial. Almost certainly not a chronometer (as in "certified"). UN called itself "Chronometer Co." for marketing purposes over a long period of time, but in any case this looks like a redial. Of course an image of the movement would be a valuable further clue.

The sentimental value of this watch far outweighs any real economic value.
